Abstract
Tema ovog rada je Specifična svojstva sivog lijeva. U radu će se govoriti općenito o sivom lijevu, svojstvima sivog lijeva, toplinskoj obradi i njegovoj primjeni. Sivi je lijev legura željeza i ugljika te dodatka silicija, mangana i fosfora. Zbog listićave strukture grafita, sivi lijev ima nisku vlačnu čvrstoću, tvrdoću, žilavost, istezanje i modul elastičnosti, te povećanu osjetljivost na debljinu stjenke. Mehanička i fizikalna svojstva sivog lijeva ovise o kemijskom sastavu i strukturi nastaloj tijekom skrućivanja i naknadnog hlađenja u krutom stanju. Veličina i orijentacija grafitnih listića ima značajan utjecaj na svojstva sivog lijeva. Sivi lijev služi za različite namjene, tako da je njegova najveća primjena u strojogradnji, građevini, brodogradnji itd. U eksperimentalnom dijelu rada proučavala se mikrostruktura sivog lijeva. Utvrđena je mikrostruktura tipa listićavog grafita, te su izvedeni zaključci.
Abstract (english)
This paper will examine The specifics properties of grey cast iron. First, it will introduce the general specifics, performance, heat treatment and usage of grey cast iron. Grey cast iron is an alloy of iron and carbon with an addition of silicon, manganese and phosphorus. Because of the graphites layered structure, grey cast iron has a low tensile strenght, hardness, toughness, straining, modulus of elasticity and increased sensibility of wall thickness. Mehanical and physical specifics of grey cast iron depend on chemical structure and structure created during solidification and subsequent cooling in a solid state. Size and orientation of graphite leaflets have significant influence on the specifics of grey cast iron. Grey cast iron is being used for different purposes. It is used in engineering, construction, shipbuilding etc. In the experimental part of this paper, I examined the microstructure of grey cast iron. Therefore, I established the microstructure, types of layered graphite and made conclusions.
