Abstract
Tema ovog rada su polimerni kompoziti u automobilskoj industriji. Kompoziti su materijali koji su kombinacija dva ili više materijala. Postoji više vrsta kompozita ovisno o tome od kojih materijala su sastavljeni i u kojem obliku su pojedine njihove komponente. Koriste se u mnogim područjima kao što su strojarstvo, automobilska industrija, zrakoplovna industrija, građevinarstvo, sportska oprema. Polimerni kompoziti su najraširenija vrsta kompozita te su oni detaljnije opisani u ovom radu. Zbog svojih iznimno dobrih svojstava kao što su velika specifična čvrstoća, velika specifična krutost, otpornost na kiseline i lužine, mogućnost prigušenja vibracija njihova primjena je u porastu. Sve više se primjenjuju u automobilskoj industriji zbog zahtjeva za što manjom masom, potrošnjom goriva te što manjim zagađenjem okoliša. U uvodnom dijelu rada prikazani su materijali općenito, njihova podjela te razvoj materijala kroz povijest. U nastavku su opisani kompoziti te njihove podvrste s obzirom na materijal matrice i oblik ojačala. Opisani su polimerni kompoziti te njihove podvrste prema obliku ojačala. Pojašnjeni su zahtjevi koji se postavljaju pred materijale u automobilskoj industriji, te su na kraju rada navedeni i prikazani primjeri primjene polimernih kompozita u automobilskoj industriji.
Abstract (english)
Subject of this final work are polymer composites in automotive industry. Composites are materials which are combination of two or more materials. There are many types of composites depend on from which materials they are made and in which shape are their components. They are used in many areas like mechanical engineering, automotive industry, aviation industry, civil engineering, constructions, sport equipment. Polymer composites are the most common type of composites and they are described in detail in this final work. Because of their extremely good features like high specific strenght, specific tenseness, acid and alkalis resistance, vibration resistance their use is increasing. Their application in automotive industry is increasing because of requirements for less weight cars, less fuel consumption and less pollution. Materials in general, their classification and development are described in introductory. Therefore, composites and their types by matrix material and form of reinforcement are described. Polymer composites and their types by form of reinforcement are described. Finally, requirements of automotive industry and examples of polymer composites in cars are explained at the end of this final work.
