Abstract
U završnom radu je opisan postupak nanošenja kroma u svrhu zaštite materijala od vanjskih, nepovoljnih utjecaja ili iz estetskih razloga. Općenito se postupak naziva metalizacijom, što podrazumijeva nanošenje više različitih elemenata i njihovih legura. Nakon što je opisan krom kao element, odnosno sirovina, njegova svostva i nastajanje, ukratko su opisani postupci pripreme podloge za njegovo nanošenje, same tehnologije nanošenja Cr-prevlaka i ispitivanje kvaliteta istih. Krom, iako nije jeftin, po mnogo čemu je povoljan u industriji, ponajviše jer je tvrd i estetski prihvatljih, ukoliko je potrebno da proizvod lijepo izgleda uz to da je zaštićen. O kromu i njegovim legurama, prednostima i nedostacima, nastajanju i zbrinjavanju, pobliže je opisano u daljnjem tekstu.
Abstract (english)
The final work describes the applications of chromium to protect the material from external, adverse influences of for aesthetic reasons. Generally, the process is called metallization, which includes applying different elements and their alloys. After is described chromium as the element, respectively raw material, briefly are described the procedures for preparing the substrate for application, the technology applying Cr coating and testing the quality of the same. Chromium, although not cheap, in many ways is favorable to the industry, mainly because it is tough and aesthetic acceptable, if is necessary that products look nice and being protect. About chrome and his alloys, advantages and disadvantages, emerging and care, described in more detail in upcoming text.
