Abstract
Kompozitni materijali danas predstavljaju alternativu konvencionalnim materijalima. Kompozitni materijali posjeduju iznimno dobra svojstva specifične čvrstoće i specifične krutosti po čemu su i poznati. Tehnika dobivanja kompozitnih materijala je relativno skupa jer nema serijske proizvodnje ove vrste. Koriste se u automobilskoj industriji zbog svojih izrazitih svojstava, ali i zbog zahtjeva automobilske industrije. U radu je objašnjeno što su to kompozitni materijali i struktura kompozitnih materijala. U nastavku je prikazana podjela kompozitnih materijala prema vrsti matrice, odnosno podjela prema vrsti ojačala. Objašnjena su svojstva kompozitnih materijala općenito. Opisuju se vrste kompozita i njihove karakteristike koje su povoljnije od karakteristika pojedinih materijala. Nadalje u radu su objašnjena svojstva kompozita koji se primjenjuju u automobilskoj industriji. U tom kompleksu pojavljuje se niz zahtjeva i kriterija vrednovanja, često suprotstavljenih, čija se važnost mora rangirati. Tehnički, ekonomski i ekološki čine tri osnovne skupine kriterija. Za kraj navedeni su i ilustrativno prikazani primjeri primjene kompozitnih materijala u automobilskoj industriji.
Abstract (english)
Composite materials represent an alternative to conventional materials. Composite materials have extremely good properties of specific strength and specific stiffness which they are known for. The technique of obtaining composite material is relatively expensive because there is no serial production for this type of material. They are used in the automotive industry because of its distinct characteristics, but also because of the demands of the automotive industry. Therefore, paper explain composite materials and structures of composite materials. Shown below is the distribution of composite materials according to the type of matrix, or the division by type of reinforcement. There are explained the properties of composite materials in general. It describes the types of composites and their characteristics and which are more favorable than characteristics of certain materials. Furthermore, the paper explained the properties of composites that are applied in the automotive industry. In that complex appears a series of requirements and evaluation criteria, often conflicting, whose importance must be ranked. Technical, economic and environmental make three basic criteria. At the end there are listed and illustrated examples of composite materials in the automotive industry.
