Abstract
U početku ovog završnog rada ukratko je opisana povijest polimernih materijala, njihovo otkriće te čovjekova potreba za polimernim materijalima, kao i područje njihove primjene. Opisane su osnovne vrste polimernih materijala, te navedeno područje primjene. Navedeni su i opisani svi kontinuirani postupci praoblikovanja polimera i navedena su područja njihove primjene. Vrhunac završnog rada odnosi se na najrašireniji postupak praoblikovanja polimernih materijala, ekstrudiranje, te je taj postupak detaljno opisan. Navedeni su polimeri koji se prerađuju tim postupkom, opisana je linija ekstrudiranja i također su navedena područja primjene.
Abstract (english)
At the beginning of this paper are presented the history of polymer materials, their discovery and the human need for polymer materials, and their area of application. Basic kinds of plastic materials are described and their narrow application is mentioned. All the continuous processes of polymer shaping are listed and briefly described, and their application areas are listed. The peak of the paper refers to the most widely used process of polymers materials shaping, extrusion, and this process is described in detail. Polymers that are used in this shaping process are listed, extrusion line is described and the applications areas are also listed.
