Abstract
Materijali koji se primjenjuju od postanka ljudskoga roda, pa do današnjeg dana nazivaju se polimerni materijali. U početku su to bili prirodni organski i anorganski polimerni materijali. Važnost i udio tih prirodnih polimernih materijala u odnosu na ostale materijale mijenja se s razvojem čovječanstva. Primjena polimernih materijala u različitim industrijama stalno je u porastu zahvaljujući njihovim povoljnim svojstvima obrade u gotove proizvode. Zbog toga veliku zastupljenost nalaze u izradi automobilskih dijelova. Automobilska industrija veliki je potrošač plastičnih kompozita. Dijelovi izrađeni od ove vrste materijala posjeduju manju masu, poboljšanu kvalitetu i veću postojanost na koroziju. Najzatupljeniji postupak izrade automobilskih dijelova od polimernih materijala je injekcijsko prešanje. Karakteristika injekcijskog prešanja je masovna proizvodnja velikog broja različitih proizvoda od jednostavnih do složenih dijelova. Pored toga postoji još mnogo zahtjeva koje polimerni kompoziti moraju zadovoljiti kako bi se proširila njihova primjena u automobilskoj industriji uz ostala svojstva koja posjeduju, to ne predstavlja problem. Uz sve to trebaju biti zadovoljeni i neki drugi zahtjevi kao što su: brža proizvodnja uz niže troškove, koji u konačnici daju konkurentan proizvod, koji se ističe u velikom izboru ostalih proizvoda.
Abstract (english)
Materials that have been applied since the birth of human genus, so to this day are called polymer materials. Initially, they were natural organic and inorganic polymer materials. The importance and share of these natural polymeric materials in comparison with other materials changes with the development of mankind. The use of polymer materials in various industries is constantly on the rise due to their favorable processing properties in finished products. This is why large numbers of cars are found in the manufacture of automotive parts. The automotive industry is a big consumer of plastic composites. Parts made of this type of material have a lower mass, improved quality and greater stability to corrosion. The most abundant process for making automotive parts of polymeric materials is injection molding. The injection molding feature is mass production of a large number of different products from simple to complex parts. In addition, there are many requirements that polymer composites have to meet in order to expand their application to the automotive industry with other properties they possess, which is not a problem. Along with all this, some other requirements such as: faster production at lower cost, ultimately giving a competitive product, which stands out in a large variety of other products.
