In this graduate thesis, the steel assembly hall has been shown as a stable and durable construction. Using the SOLIDWORKS 2016 software, a 3D model was created. Steel mounting halls are made according to EURO 3 standards, and the same dimensions of the hall depend on customer requirements. In this paper, an analytical and numerical calculation of the bearing elements of the structure was made. To create mounting hall the standard IPE profiles are used, in combination with other standard profiles. IPE 300, IPE 270, C 120x46 mm and square 40x40x4 mm profiles were used. Trapezoidal sheet TR-35/200 was used to cover the roof and side closure of the hall. Since the use of mounting halls is very wide, at the beginning of the work are also described the types of mounting halls used today. The types of connections that are used in the manufacture and installation of the hall are also described. After the layout of the mounting halls and a detailed description of the construction, the analytical calculation of the supporting elements of the hall was performed. The paper describes the method to be used for obtaining solutions by the finite element method. ANSYS Workbench 19.0 software was used for numeric calculation. Analytical solutions are accompanied by a numerical calculation. The deviations are insignificant. After the analytical and numerical calculations of the bearing elements of the construction, the results were analyzed. Ultimately, the optimization of the supporting elements of the assembly hall was carried out with the aim of reducing the overall mass of the structure. By reducing the mass, it is possible to save on the material, thus saving money. Through the calculated budget and the optimization, it is concluded that it is possible to use lighter bearings, to reduce the total mass of the structure, and that the construction does not come into unfavorable conditions of exploitation.
