Abstract
Brodogradnja je jedna od neophodnih industrija sadašnjeg vremena. Očekivanje koja se traže od brodova određuju koja će se tehnika i materijal koristiti pri njegovoj gradnji. Širok spektar materijala se primjenjuje te svaki materijal ima svoje zahtjeve za obradu, održavanje i primjenu. Zadatak inženjera je izabrati odgovarajući materijal, postupanje sa njim i pratiti tijek izrade. Osim inženjera bitno je i izvršitelja radova informirati, obučiti da pravilno rukovodi materijalom. Uvodni dio govorit će općenito o bitnosti plovnih objekta i materijalima koji su se koristili kroz povijest. Glavnina rada temeljit će se na čeliku, njegovim svojstvima, vrsti, te će se spomenuti još neki značajni materijali koji se danas koriste. Primjena i cijena materijala bit će obrađena u završetku rada, a u zaključku navest će se važnost ispravnog odabira materijala za izgradnju plovila.
Abstract (english)
Shipbuilding is one of the necessary sectors today. The expectations that are required from ships determine what technology and materials will be used in its construction. A wide range of materials is used and each material has its own requirements for the handling, maintenance and application. The task of the engineers is to select suitable material, handling and monitor the progress of the build. Except engineers it is essential that the contractor is informed and learned how to properly maneuver materials. The introductory part will talk in general about the necessity of water objects and materials that have been used throughout history. The majority of the work will be based on steel, its properties, type, and will mention some other important materials that are used today. The use and price of the materials will be processed at the end of the work, and finally, importance of the correct choice of materials for the construction of vessels will be stated.
